Risk for rise in domestic violence during COVID-19

An effect of the Coronavirus and restrictions aimed to limit the spread of the virus further results in people spending more time in their homes. This means an increased risk for people that live with domestic violence.

Often domestic abuse comes to our knowledge through neighbors, extended family or working colleges that has been attentive, caring, and decided to take action.

The police and the Municipality of Högsby request that you as a

responsible citizen contact us if you think that any child or adult is being abused, witness violence or in any other way is at risk.
