No. But it may be contracted m infancy, from ill persons, often the parents.
How does one contract tuberculosis?
By inhaling the bacillus thrown out when coughing by a tuberculous person and by eating infected food or drinking milk from tuberculous cows.
How do you know that you are free from tuberculosis?
By having a yearly physical examination by a good physician, including an X-ray of the chest.
