7.3 Övriga reflektioner 39
Uppsatsskrivning är en process. Författarna behövde använda tidigare kunskaper samt förmågan att kunna samla in ny information. I processen innehas dessutom begränsade riktlinjer för att veta vad som är rätt eller fel riktning och det krävs därför en god kommunikation mellan parterna. Författarna ska kunna diskutera och få stöd från varandra samt förlita sig på varandras kompetens. Uppsats är en lärorik period, med varierande resultat under skrivandet. Från en dag kan allt kännas bra och nästa dag kan tvivel uppstå. För att underlätta denna process är det viktigt att kunna kommunicera tydligt och konkret med varandra samt hjälpas åt när fel uppstår.

Intervjun
1. Vad har du för nuvarande tjänst?
Jag arbetar som "Technical expert, Charging systems" på en konsultfirma i Södertälje som heter AVL. AVL är verksamt inom framförallt utveckling av motorer och växellådor för både personbilar och lastbilar. Motorutvecklingen innefattar även motorer till fartyg etc. Charging systems är ett delsystem på en motor där bl.a. turboladdare ingår.
2. Vad är din uppfattning gällande vilka effekter oljeprisförändringar har på företag i bilindustrin?
Det har betydelse för hur stora bilar och bränslesnåla motorer kunder köper långsiktigt, men man ser oftast ingen stark koppling på kort sikt, kanske pg.a. även om oljepriset ändras ganska mycket hela tiden så beror ändå det pris slutkunden får betala på en massa andra faktorer som skatter och avgifter.
3. Vad är din uppfattning om hur företagen i bilindustrin skyddar sig vid kraftiga oljeprisförändringar?
Bilindustrins utveckling av bränslesnålare motorer beror mer på olika regler som införs. Tex. så jobbar i princip alla inom bilindustrin mot ett nytt krav i Europa 2020 där bilar inte får dra mer än 95gram CO2/km. Om de överstiger detta värde får man betala en extra avgift.
4. Hur upplever du att bilindustrins aktiekurser påverkas av kraftiga förändringar i oljepriset?
Om oljepriset stiger kraftigt så kan det säkert påverka biltillverkare negativt som företrädesvis gör stora och bränsleslukande bilar.
5. Övriga kommentarer
Alla inom bilindustrin jobbar också på olika alternativa lösningar istället för oljebaserade drivmedel så som elbilar och bilar med bränsleceller. Tyvärr så har dessa lösningar fortfarande en massa begränsningar så som dålig räckvidd och höga kostnader. Men man räknar med att dessa nya teknologier kommer att ta större och större marknadsandelar i framtiden.
