6.1 Förslag på fortsatt forskning

Studien kommer fram till att förvärv inom högteknologiska bolag i Sverige är värdeskapande. Under arbetsprocessens gång har det kommit upp en del områden som vore intressanta att undersöka djupare. Specifikt vilka orsaker och karaktärsdrag som ligger bakom den positiva onormala avkastningen är av intresse. En undersökning skulle kunna göras på flertalet relevanta variabler, både fördelaktiga och mindre fördelaktiga för den här typen av förvärv. En synvinkel vi anser bör undersökas extra noggrant är personalomsättning i Sverige

eftersom ökad personalomsättning är särskilt skadligt vid just högteknologiska förvärv (Ernst & Vitt, 2000). I en studie om ingenjörer så tyder resultaten på att lojaliteten till arbetet är högre ifall de anställda upplever balansen mellan familj och yrkesliv som god (Kim, 2012). Sverige var först ut och har en utvecklad modell för betald föräldraledighet och förmåner för

kommunicerar väl och upplevs stödjande är viljan att byta arbete lägre. Detta anser vi direkt kan kopplas till social kontroll som har påvisats i Sverige (Larsson & Lubatkin, 2001). Utifrån undersökningens resultat som indikerar att högteknologiska förvärv i Sverige är värdeskapande hade det också varit intressant att se hur detta skulle kunna tillämpas som en investeringsstrategi. Detta för att undersöka om vinst skulle kunna erhållas av den
