6.4 Förslag till fortsatt forskning

Utifrån studiens resultat skulle det vara intressant och värdefullt om vidare forskning fortsätter utveckla modeller med samma utgångspunkter och grunder. Studiens resultat är begränsat utifrån det empiriska urvalet från ett fåtal branscher, men även på grund av att förutsättningar för företag och individer är olika. Även brister kan finnas med vår tolkande ansats, genom att socialt

konstruerade händelser skiljer sig forskare emellan.

Vi hade gärna sett en förbättrad och mer användbar strukturering om Implementering, Granskning och Kommunikation med ekologiskt ansvarstagande inom leverantörskedjor, genom en större tydlighet. Vi ansåg att fortsatt forskning bör fokusera på en större kontrast i branschtillhörighet av det empiriska materialet. Det skulle kunna ge nya kategoriseringar alternativt bekräftande

kategoriseringar om utmaningarna som kan uppstå för företags styrning, vilket kan bidra med ytterligare ny kunskap.
