Vår studie bidrar med en inblick hur femininitet och sexualitet porträtteras hos unga tjejer i filmen Snyggingar (Doucouré, 2020) och om porträtteringen av detta är objektifierande och sexualiserande. Därför kan det vara intressant att undersöka hur andra filmer med syfte att belysa samhällsproblematik väljer att porträttera den. Eftersom studiens valda film mött kritik för just den porträtteringen så är det därför intressant att se på vilket sätt liknande filmer valt att framställa problematiken de vill uppmärksamma. Det blir således även relevant att undersöka hur man som filmskapare på bästa sätt kan åskådliggöra samhällsproblematik utan att riskera att motta kritik för sin porträttering av karaktärer, handling och utförande.
