10.4 Förslag på vidare studier
Eftersom endast tolv hundägare i Lund intervjuades i studien, skulle en studie med samma undersökningsfokus kunna göras fast med fler antal hundägare. Genom att involvera fler hundägare i forskningen skulle det leda till att en mer representativ bild då anskaffas över var någonstans i Lund hundrastning sker och varför.
Förslagsvis, i en fortsatt studie, skulle promenader tillsammans med hundägare i Lund kunna göras till de ställen de anger att de brukar hundrasta på. Antingen efter eller under tiden då intervjuer äger rum. Detta tror jag skulle kunna göras med fördel då det skulle minimera risken för missförstånd om vilka platser som åsyftas i hundägarnas intervjusvar, eftersom ställena besöks tillsammans med hundägare. Mer betänketid skulle också tillkomma för hundägare att kunna komplettera sina intervjusvar med om promenader görs. Som jag tidigare nämnt kan det vara svårt som respondent att direkt komma på saker vid intervjuer. Dessutom skulle det ge möjlighet för forskaren att på plats kunna observera hundägare och deras hundar interagera med de olika platserna, om platsbesök görs tillsammans med dem.
