Fokus för denna studie har varit de olika faktorer som kan ha påverkat konsumenten vid köpbeslutet av en högengagemangsprodukt, vilket endast är en bråkdel av huvudämnets intressanta forskningsområden. Då faktorerna som konsumenter påverkas av kan tyckas vara oändliga, skulle det vara intressant att gräva sig djupare i konsumenters köpbeslutsprocess i syfte att ta reda på vilka fler faktorer som är av betydelse som denna studie inte har tagit hänsyn till. Då studien lagt fokus på högengagemangsprodukter, skulle en studie med fokus på lågengagemangsprodukter vara både kompletterande samt intresseväckande. Denna studie behandlar köpbesluten som fattats utan att ta hänsyn till om besluten fattats rationellt eller emotionellt, vilket även hade varit intressant ståndpunkt för fortsatta studier.
