1 AN ACT TO LEVY A 'fAX FOR THE SUPPOR'l' A.ND MAINTENANCE OF
2 THE MEDICAL SCHOOL AND NURSES TRAINING SCHOOL OF THE
3 UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO.

5 SECTION 1. In addition to the levy now authorized by law, there shall G be levied annually, beginning with the year 1!)23, upon all taxable property in 7 the State of Colorado, for the use of the Medirnl School and the Nurses Train-8 ing School of the University of Colorado, five (5) hundredths of one (1) mill V on each and every dollar of the assessed valuation of said taxable property, 10 to be assessed and colleeted in the same manner and at the same time as is 11 now or may hereafter be prescribed by law for the assessment and collection 12 of State taxes.
13 SECTION 2. Such entire levies and the funds raised thereunder shall be 14 a part of the additional one (1) mill levy authorized for State Educational In-15 stitutions by the Amendment of Article X, Section 11 of the Constitution of 16 the State of Colorado, adopted by the affirmative rnte of the people of the State 17 of Colorado at the election on November 2, rn20.
18 SECTION 3. 'l'he entire fund derived from such levy each year is hereby 19 appropriated for the support-and maintenance of the Medical School and Nurses 20 'fraining School of the University of Colorado, located in Denver.
21 SECTION 4. It is hereby declared that this Act is necessary for the im-22 mediate preservation of public peace, health and safety.
23 SECTION 5. In the opinion of the General Assembly an emergency H. B. No. 140-1
