This digest provides frequent updates about CSU’s COVID-19-related planning for the university community and highlights recent decisions and important updates. All faculty, staff and students will automa cally receive the digest. Others – including students’ parents and family members – can subscribe. Colorado State University con nues to test students, faculty and staff for COVID-19 through a targeted strategy based on monitoring wastewater from residence halls, which can provide indica ons of early signs of COVID, and contact tracing or poten al exposure through academic or personal interac ons.

Tes ng is conducted twice a week and is available to students, faculty and staff specifically iden fied by the university under these set circumstances. To date more than 10,300 tests have been administered to targeted groups since mid August; more informa on about those groups is at h ps://covidrecovery.colostate.edu/covid-tes ng/.

Students, faculty and staff who are not iden fied for tes ng by the university but want to receive a test should go to a Larimer County tes ng site.

All posi ve test results are tallied on the dashboard (h ps://covidrecovery.colostate.edu/), along with cases that the university is made aware of through Larimer County and other sources, such as through physicians.

Daily symptom checker

Students, faculty and staff should fill out the daily symptom checker every day to report symptoms, a posi ve test result, or a possible exposure to someone with COVID-19. Students prac ce public health measures

Colorado State University encouraged students, faculty and staff to keep Labor Day – and all gatherings -- small through mul ple communica ons. University surveys show that 91 percent of CSU students prac ce public health behaviors to avoid spreading COVID-19.
