This certificate is issued under the authority of Kammarkollegiet. The insurance is backed by the full faith and credit of the Swedish government.

This is to certify that Name is covered by “Health and parental insurance for doctoral students with stipends” – Terms and conditions 1 July 2016.

The insurance is valid during the period: February 19, 2020 – February 18, 2021

The insurance applies when the doctoral student´s stipend is reduced due to absence from studies in the case of illness or parental leave.

The insurance consists of three parts:

- Sickness benefit - Parental benefit

- Temporary parental benefit Sickness benefit:

The insurance utilises Compensation Qualifying Income – CQI (Ersättningsgrundande inkomst – EGI)-Rather than SGI,

(Sjukpenninggrundande inkomst, Sickness Benefit Qualifying Income) CQI corresponds to the stipend annually received by the doctoral student.

Parental benefit:

- Parental benefit to take care of a child in connection with the birth or adoption of a child and

- temporary parental benefit in special situations which a person refrains from doctoral studies in order to take care of a child or in connection with the death of a child Parental benefit can be granted at the

- sickness benefit level (CQI) - basic level or

- minimum level
