Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation for Public Benefit wishes to welcome researchers from KI Lifestyle4Health to apply for its Scholars-in- Residence programme 2021 at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Engelsberg in Västmanland.
Eligibility: The programme is directed towards senior researchers at KI
Lifestyle4Health looking for a quiet and inspirational place to read or write; for those doing a literature review, finishing a paper, a book or similar. Currently the programme is open to all researchers, except PhD-students.
Practical information: From July to October 2021 you have the opportunity to live 1-4 weeks at Engelsberg. You will be staying in one of the buildings on the site
with your own kitchen, responsible for your own catering, including buying food, throughout your stay. Those who wish can also bring their family. There is wifi across all houses, via fiber. There is access to printer, and each scholar gets a desk at the main conference venue Ventilfabriken. There will be daily tea-time for scholars to meet in a non-ceremonial way and, depending on corona restrictions, possible additional programme. There are no costs involved for the scholar, other than travel and self-catering.
