DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN PRACTICE, 5 ECTS

OPEN ONLINE COURSE – OPEN UAS

This is a master’s level introductory course in Digital Business Management. The aim of the course is to give you an exciting, applied, and comprehensive view of the Project Management experience in today’s world. It examines the process of applied project management using defined disciplines as a means to understanding the day-to-day operational issues faced by those managing projects.

STUDY CONTENT

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

Define the characteristics and structure of a project Identify the common roles and responsibilities of project

managers across multiple disciplines

Understand current project management tools and techniques

Explain the process of establishing metrics and performance benchmarks

Describe and analyze risks associated with projects Develop an evaluation and assessment of a complex

project

Apply knowledge of project management in their industry and/or organization

COURSE STRUCTURE

The learning platform is Moodle. Typical course activities include lectures online, weekly discussions and reports on

individual accomplishments. Students will work on a Final cllnovia.fi/our-courses/show/892-001008

Project Management Plan that involves a mentor/stakeholder and requires a recorded video presentation during the last week of the course.

Fee for Open UAS studies is 75 euro. Campusonline students (Finland) study for free.
