LASER STEERING
Operator presence-control / dead man’s switch. To be able to borrow any robot from Toyota I would need a technician to install the laser. They had two guys who did it. In the end it was impossible for me to borrow any robot because they couldn’t spare me a technician.

An open field with big cranes; drilling up oil from the seabed... that endlessly pump oil out in the ocean(and a park of big structure) There is already discus-sions on who will get rights to drill for oil in the North Pole, when the ice has melted. Where there is money there is oil. I find it interesting that the plastic production seem to not speak about this at all. Like the famous Swiss chocolate that never mentions its cacao source.

This system is based on my notes. Choosing words that appear often. Highlighting these words connects my own practice to the corporate lingo of big companies. Presenting a mind map to my practice. My system is based on what I never really remember.

To get in line and to see all hidden parts of the logistics -It is best to be inside the structure. To play the game on their terms. If I lead the viewer through the perfect line of goods and mimic the perfect production line, will I be able to tell you something more?

The idea that the customer is the one that are placing the orders and that the customer consume after their needs, the way of hiding the advertisement that is placed everywhere, which the companies pay millions for selling. Flow is also a silent stream of production, when everything works without anyone question it!
Every product that you borrow from us that has been used we recycle. If a product in our production doesn't fulfill the top standard we recy-cle it! Everything needs to be on top and there are no left-over materials. Everything can be used again and again...
RECYCLING
Most plastic is impossible to recycle. Even if companies grind down pallets there will always be small parts that fall out of the circulation. What about all the food package that I constantly carry to the recycling bin? Not even half of it will be used again. Just burned or sold to be put in landfills.

This word of having a surplus makes me stressed. In my prac-tice I get stressed if I end up with art-works that become mine. Once I got 200 plastic buckets and made an installation out of them. But afterwards, having them in my studio looking at me, I got so stressed that I gave them all to my elderly neighbour who tried to sell them. For me it doesn't work to have real products in my studio. They keep eating up my energy. Integrated supply chain and logistics service provider catering to

Since the industrial revolution the railway has been the most stable way of getting across countries. It is also the most eco friendly alternative. Working in a small city of Sweden. Looking out the window watching this beautiful countryside. It looks like it is taken out from a fairytale. Thick wood and fluffy moss makes me want to leave the city. But as soon as the train gets closer to a town, big industries start piling up. This is the land of production. This is not a book. Immediately I start thinking about the workers that enter the train and their weird hours of shift work and their long distance traveling by train. With only a few available departures per day.
With all the new digitalization you can always stay calm. Data makes your company always in control. It safeguarded won’t let even the slightest misstep pass by.
NO ONE IS IN CHARGE
The data doesn’t tell you anything. All this information will just get you more stressed. Even your working colleagues are in charge to report if you do some-thing you shouldn't. Their spot in the warehouse is depending on that they are the middlemen that the boss can trust.
Time consumption is money consumption. Everything is cal-culated in such a way so that you are not losing any time at all. Time is money.

Money isn’t time. It is the medium, spiral of capitalism. The quote ”Time is money” refers to Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) and a time when the whole logistic system was based on shipping slaves.

ROBOTS
Glorified ideas of dehumanization. Which felt like to opposite when I saw them in reality. All of these robots are controlled by humans and of course made by humans. They were constantly breaking down and there were always a technician trying to slow the present problem so the production line could work smoothly again. The small jobs where still made by hand.
Every coast can be the big next port! EXPLOSIONS OF PORTS
One thing that I found ironic on the logistic fair 2019 was the big booth were Gävle was sold as the center of the Nordic region.This outlying land should be the center of the Nordic countries. This port has been sold to a Turkish company which also feels ironic; that you can sell a piece of land to another country to handle with the hope that this will bring revenue to the city of Gävle.
To get your perfect lawn we remove stones and elevations in a safe way and replace them with the perfect cube to be in control of the garden.

Pallet intelligence. With a chip embedded in the plastic pallet you can track every step that the goods take. Making sure they are on the right course. The log of info, on where it should go, makes it easier for you to keep up with the amount of pallets that are in circulation.

For an exhibition in Malmö I once borrowed some pallets from Stockholm, and through the tracking device I could follow the pallets on their journey Stockholm-Arlan-da-Leipzig-Copenhagen-Malmö.

In my practice I find this very interesting; that a pallet also is part in the big chain of production, that the pallet itself has a value. I do the same, borrow products to let them be the product of value.

CIRCULATION
This word feels like THE word that describes my practice. Different companies come and go and different thoughts are coming and going, but it feels like they are in the same circle.
The future of the utility industry and the players that are driving market suc-cess, we need global goals together.
GLOBAL POWER STRATEGIES
Compete to earn money, the rules of the game. The more money you get, the more companies you can buy to control the market. Most of these business words feel just like words with no content. Guess the whole mapping part is just empty words taken from this business structure.

ORDER
Cleaning my studio, cleaning my desk. Look at old notes and throw away the things I am guessing that I won’t be needing. Then my brain is ready to sit down and work. Too much chaos on the outside doesn't mimic my chaos on the inside.
