Some notes are presented _on the distribution ofthe danish species ofblackflies. A survey of the freshwaterfauna of the major danish isles is taking place at the moment and will be finished in 1981. It is hoped that after the conclusion of this survey it will be possible to describe the distribution of the danish blackfly in detail.
