Courses offered in English to exchange students in autumn 2019 (September-December) and spring 2020 (January-May/June):

USS15UV05 Current professional practice in health- and nursing care, 3-5 ECTS

- The student gains a deeper understanding of theory and/or nursing practice which supports the professional development and have knowledge of professional expertise

USS15UV05 Multi-cultural care, 2 ECTS

- Students can describe the connection between culture, the individual and society in relation to care and reflects on the ethical aspects of inter-professional care

Internship (limited number of places)

The competences and content of the Internship depends on what kind of placement the students wish to have.

English, 3 ECTS The student

- Shows the ability to communicate in a professional manner in a work context in speaking as well as writing

- Is familiar with essential terminology within his/her field and is able to benefit from professional literature

- Has a positive attitude to developing his/her receptive and productive language skills and is familiar with the relevant tools

- Is aware of cultural differences in international contexts

Swedish, 3 ECTS

The Swedish course is offered by the Swedish Adult Education Centre Arbis. There are day-time and evening courses. Students having a work placement are asked to choose the evening course.
