USS15UV05 Current professional practice in health- and nursing care, 3-5 ECTS
- The student gains a deeper understanding of theory and/or nursing practice which supports the professional development and have knowledge of professional expertise
USS15UV05 Multi-cultural care, 2 ECTS
- Students can describe the connection between culture, the individual and society in relation to care and reflects on the ethical aspects of inter-professional care
Quality Management and Evaluation, 5 ECTS (only in the autumn term) NB! Master level course The student is able to
- Define structure, service and outcome quality and meaning of quality assurance from different perspectives
- Identify and apply prevailing quality assessment methods and quality standards within social and health care
- Describe the most central quality management systems within social- and health care - Integrate quality assurance and quality improvement to her/his professional duties - Can plan and implement evaluation of one’s work field/activity/operation
Internship (limited number of places)
The competences and content of the Internship depends on what kind of placement the students wish to have.
English, 3 ECTS The student
- Shows the ability to communicate in a professional manner in a work context in speaking as well as writing
- Is familiar with essential terminology within his/her field and is able to benefit from professional literature
- Has a positive attitude to developing his/her receptive and productive language skills and is familiar with the relevant tools
- Is aware of cultural differences in international contexts
Swedish, 2 ECTS
