kristofer odolinski grew up in Falun, Sweden. He studied economics and political science at Linköping University, and received his Degree of Master of Political Sciences (One Year) in 2009. He has been employed at the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute since 2010, and was later enrolled in the PhD program in Economics at Örebro University in 2012. This dissertation provides empirical evidence on costs and incentives in a publicly owned monopoly that is subject to reforms, namely the provision of railway maintenance in Sweden.
