Russia – Stuck in Transition?

The Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) has the pleasure to invite you to a discussion of the situation in Russia as well a presentation of EBRD’s Transition Report 2013 that this year has the subtitle “Stuck in Transition?” on Friday December 13, 8.45 -10.30 with Vladimir Ryzhkov, co-chair of the Republican Party of Russia – People's Freedom Party (RPR-PARNAS) and Erik Berglöf, Chief economist of the EBRD.

Vladimir Ryzhkov is a co-chair of the political party RPR-PARNAS (since 2006) and former Russian State Duma member (1993–2007). He is also a professor at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.

Erik Berglöf is Chief Economist and Special Adviser to the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since 2006. Prior to his current position he was the Director of SITE and professor at the Stockholm School of Economics.

The lecture will be chaired by Jesper Roine, Deputy director of SITE. Time will be available for questions and answers after the presentation.
