ACE CFO FORUM – What will the modern finance function look like in the future?

The CFO FORUM aims to discuss the future challenges of the modern finance function. Led by Associate Professor Lukas Goretzki, we will have speakers from the academic world, the practical world and CIMA, the Chartered Institute for Manage- ment Accountants, which is the largest professional body for CFOs and controllers in the world.

Registration and coffee start at 15.00 and a light meal is served at 18.00.

” Accounting and emotions in Swedish foot- ball – how to balance mind and madness?”

Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Sports and Business, Martin Carlsson-Wall, will share insights from a larger research program about accounting and emotions in Swedish football. How do clubs combine different ideals and norms from supporters, sponsors and the public? How do they become win- ners both on and off the pitch?

”Financial reporting in extractive industries”

Acting Professor and member of the European Financial Report- ing Advisory Group Academic Panel, Niclas Hellman, will share insights about an on-going research project about financial report- ing in extractive industries (i.e. oil, gas and mineral resources).

Breakfast is served from 07.30.

During the academic year of 2019/2020, the Accounting and Financial Management Center of Excellence (ACE) will offer the following events.
