per fischer was born in Ekshärad, Värmland in 1981. After completing medical studies at Linköping University and an internship at Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping, he completed training in Orthopaedic Surgery (2013) at Karlstad Central Hospital and Hand Surgery (2015) at Örebro University Hospital. He is a senior consultant at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Karlstad Central Hospital.

In this thesis, he investigates implant survival and radiographic loosening in a 10-year follow-up of four different total wrist arthroplasty designs. He also evaluates outcome following wrist revision arthroplasty with a five-year follow-up. Finally, a new radial wrist hemi arthroplasty design is evaluated biomechanically in a cadaveric model and clinically in pilot study.

Conclusions: Children reporting more fruit- and vegetable-promoting family- environmental factors had a more frequent intake of fruits and vegetables; the associations were stronger

Aim: To study patient-related functional outcome measures, implant survival and radiographic loosening after total wrist arthroplasty (TWA) using four different implants..

Following TWA with the new implant design in a cadaveric model, there were no statistically significant changes compared to a native wrist regarding flexion, extension,

Work-integrated Learning (WIL), the form of higher education whose usual design is that students go to campus to learn ‘theory’ and into work placements to learn ‘practice’,
