Uni-vocal determination of the chemical content of police seizures is naturally an essential step in those investiga-tions. This study presents findings re-garding the spectroscopic differentia-tion of new psychoactive substances, as well as crucial methodological aspects, including criteria for unam-biguous identification and chemical pitfalls, within a forensic application.
