Föreliggande studie visade på olika upplevelser av återkoppling hos SIA. SIA upplevde till övervägande del gynnsamma följder av återkopplingen. I vissa avseenden gick dock upplevelserna isär. Återkopplingsformen debriefing kunde både främja eller försämra SIA’s psykiska mående. Samtidigt upplevdes den även ha en sammansvetsande inverkan på det interprofessionella samarbetet. Därför bör debriefing som

återkopplingsform beforskas ytterligare för att klargöra dess upplevda inverkan på SIA.

Ytterligare forskning vore även lämplig överlag om återkopplingens inverkan på vården, detta för att klargöra den eventuellt positiva inverkan på patientsäkerheten.
