6.1. Förslag till vidare forskning
Med kategorierna som växt fram i vår studie finns en grund för att genomföra en större enkätstudie med studenter från hela landet. Genom att göra en sådan
studie med ett kvantitativt tillvägagångssätt finns möjlighet att generalisera resultatet.
I de tre segmenten av bankkunder som Martin-Consuegra et al. (2006) identifierat tas det endast hänsyn till de sociala fördelarna, förtroendefördelarna och specialanpassningsfördelarna. Kategorin av relationsfördelar som Dimitriadis (2011) funnit rörande tillgänglighet och bekvämlighet visade sig vara högst väsentlig för respondenterna i vår studie, vilket indikerar på att det kan vara av vikt att inkludera dessa fördelar i framtida forskning kring segmenteringen av bankkunder.
Det som saknas i vår studie är olika yrkesgrupper utöver studenter. Något som vore intressant är att se om det finns några stora skillnader bland unga privatkonsumenter beroende på deras yrken.
I vår studie har privatkonsumenten varit i fokus. En studie utifrån företagens synvinkel hade varit intressant att undersöka för att se hur de hanterar unga privatkonsumenter som ska utveckla sina tjänster i banken.
