6. Slutsats

6.2 Framtida forskning

Då studien använde sig av en kvalitativ metod i form av fokusgrupper finns det möjlighet till förslag för framtida forskning inom forskningsområdet. Därför kan det vara intressant att göra en vidare forskning på studiens ämne men avgränsa studien utifrån andra aspekter. Ett exempel kan vara att undersöka fler respondenter inom olika generationer för att få en större demografisk spridning och ett bredare perspektiv. Studien undersökte också endast kvinnliga respondenter med fokus på kosmetikabranschen, därför kan det vara av intresse att i framtida studier forska i andra branscher eller olika produktkategorier. Genom att även inkludera manliga samt icke-binära respondenter för att se om det finns skillnader mellan könsidentitet är ett alternativ. Att jämföra aspekterna av CSR för att se vad som påverkar kundens

köpbeteende inom kosmetikabranschen hade även varit intressant fortsatt forskning. Ett annat exempel på vidare forskning är att avgränsa utifrån ekonomiska tillgångar, för att se hur köpbeteendet påverkas beroende på individens inkomst. Ett annat metodval, som en kvantitativ undersökning, är också ett förslag. En kvantitativ undersökning bidrar till ett bredare perspektiv, som kan komplettera den mer djupgående kvalitativa studien.
