Additional Information on Don G. Redman
Don G. Redman will become manager of the Eaton factory of The Great Western Sugar Company March 1.
A native Kansan, Mr. Redman grew up on a farm near Longmont. His parents, Myron and Alice Redman, retired from farming, now live in Longmont.
He was graduated from Longmont High School,· 1937, and
Colorado State University, 1942, with degree in animal husbandry. Entering service as an R. 0 . T. C. 2nd lieutenant, 1942,
Mr. Redman left the army as a captain in 1945 after one year in the
states and the remainder in combat in Africa and Italy with a field artillery battalion.
He joined the Great Western agricultural organization at Ovid in 1946, was a fieldman at Crook and went to Fort Morgan as fieldman in 1949. In 1960 Mr. Redman was promoted to assistant manager at Fort Morgan. He came to Denver in 1965 as assistant to Lyman H. Andrews, southern district manager.
Mr. Redman was married in 1946 to Miss Margaret Hope
of Longmont. They have four children: Robert, 19; Donna, 17;
Scott, 14, and Doug, 7.
