Time Period Covered: October 2007-October 20082007-2008
Past Goals:• Work with Webmaster on a possible database/repository on the MCMLA website for the archival indexing of Express issues.
• Redesign the style and layout of the MCMLA Express
• Modify style guide to reflect Medical Library Association (MLA) Style Manual • Create a structure of “beats” or standing topical assignments for committee members
to cover for each Express issue
Budget
No expenses incurred.
Activity Summary:
• A new banner was developed and will be presented at the Board and Business Meetings in Cody.
• Publication committee members were assigned to vet information from the various MCMLA committees
• Indexing of Express issues was tabled due to changeover of Webmasters.
2008-2009
Current Goals:• A new Express banner, layout, and style will debut in the February 2009 issue.
• Paper and poster presenters at the Cody meeting will be approached to turn their work into Express articles.
