Ladies and Gentleman's! Dear colleagues!
It is great honor for me to take a part in the opening ceremony of ECO-TECH 2007!
Our St-Petersburg state polytechnic university have co-operation with Kalmar university science 1999! This co-operation basis on the co-operation between "ECO-TECH" conference and Youth international Forum of Baltic region countries "ECOBALTICA".
In our co-operation we try help to solve environmental safety problems of our Baltic see region.
Professor William Hogland each time attends Forum ECOBALTICA and gives a lecture for students and young researches. We try attend each time of conference ECO-TECH with students and post-graduate students of St-Petersburg to give them a possibility to hear lectures and reports from leading professionals in the field of environmental safety and industry which have a deal with ecology friendly technology. It is beautiful!
I must notice that rector Prof. Agnetha Bladh of Kalmar university all this time support efforts of Prof. William Hogland to organize ECO-TECH and to develop co-operation with Russia ! Hope that ECO-TECH will develop in future due to include many new research directions in ECO-TECH program such as non-traditional energetic friendly to environmental safety: solar energetic, wind energetic, biogas and etc. this way must give ECO-TECH more wide format on the all-European business and research scene!
