sugar beet harvest in the North Platte Valley continues

to go at a brisk pace, as evidenced by this picture taken at the Heldt dump west of

Scotts-bluff. The harvest is now about 70 per cent completed. Good weather has helped bring both

the tonnage and sugar content up,
