1 One to two Oracle Forms The extension of Forms should be either ‘fmt’ or ‘fmb’
2 The attached Libraries for the Forms from
step 1, as well as any Libraries referenced by
those attached Libraries – ideally no more
than 15 libraries in total.
The extension of the libraries should be ‘pld’
3 All the database packages referred by the
Forms from step 1
The packages should be in the form of text files, with
any extension like ‘txt’, ‘sql’. CipherSoft will install the
packages from these text files on our database.
4 Most of the PL/SQL business logic refers to
tables in their SQL statements. The tables are
created in the database and referred by
different objects. Schemas are required for
the tables used in order to convert the Forms
Send text scripts that can be run to create tables,
5 Isolate the forms in a separate environment
and ensure the Forms and libraries compile
cleanly, using the text scripts gathered in
Steps 3 and 4.
This must be done to ensure all required files are
included in the package being sent!
6 Document how to recreate the environment in
which to run the submitted Forms.
