Are you interested in the field of Nursing but not yet a degree student? Open Path Studies offers you a head start to your degree studies!
Nursing Open Path Online is designed to give you an opportu- nity to study 30 credits in one academic year. You can choose to study online or at campus in Vaasa.
Students who have completed 30 ECTS credits within the Nur- sing Open Path Online programme at Novia UAS, can apply for degree studies in the joint application 2022 in a separate quota.
Note! Applicants must meet the general eligibility criteria for admissions to a University of Applied Sciences.

STUDY CONTENT
All the courses are online, lectures are streamed Finnish time (+2 hrs GMT).
Introduction to Nursing Research at Novia UAS, 3 ECTS Swedish for Beginners, 3 ECTS
Anatomy and Physiology, 4 ECTS
Clinical Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, 4 ECTS Health Promotion and Nutrition, 4 ECTS
Evidence Based Nursing, 5 ECTS
Gerontological Nursing and Rehabilitation, 5 ECTS
Patient Safety and Service Design in Social and Health Care, 4 ECTS
