User guide for principal supervisors: Create a new ISP

1. Go to Study plans - Create study plan
2. Select your doctoral student. You can type just first name.
Press Search, then Select.
3. Press Create study plan
4. These sections can only be edited by the principal supervisor and must be filled out before the ISP is sent for approval:
• Section 1-2. Research school, if applicable
• Section 3. Time plan and financial support
• Section 4. Obligatory courses
• The whole section 5. Supervisors and responsibilities
5. Section 5: The principal supervisor needs to add all co-supervisor and the Director of Doctoral education at the department. Press Edit.
6. Fill in all fields about yourself. Use the help texts for assistance. Press Save.
7. Add co-supervisors and the Director of Doctoral education at your department.
Always select the correct department to which the co-supervisor belongs. Press Choose.
8. Fill in all fields about each co-supervisor. Use the help texts for assistance. Press Save.
9. Press Save the ISP. Now your doctoral student will be able to open and edit the ISP in the ISP- system.
Before you submit the ISP - checklist:
• Fill in all ISP fields (some fields can only be edited by the principal supervisor)
• Read the help texts for assistance
• Upload obligatory documents
• Use Message log to inform others about your review & edits
• Make sure all co-supervisors have read the ISP
