Those of you who have received this letter own a holiday home in Nybro Municipality.
Since the notification of sweeping and fire protection control is not handled automatically to holiday homes, it is your responsibility that sweeping & fire protection control is carried out on your property.
Sweeping shall be carried out every 3 years and fire protection checks every 6 years.

Should we not hear anything from you, the fireplaces where the time for fire protection control and sweeping has passed the time limits, would be put on a ban on use and your fireplaces will not be allowed to be used until they have been fire protection control and the chimney cleaned.
Should it be the case that you have an agent in Sweden who manages your house, please let us know and we can control sweeping and fire protection control with them.
