-mental rlume meter and enolose herewith erection and operating instructions which have been prepared

cover-ing this type of instrument.

You will note that chart have been supplied graduated from 0 to 10, which will correspond to the

indicating scale. While the center of the chart is

marked tt4' Parshall flume" and at the periphery there is a notation "Liters per Second = 100 times chart or

indicator readingtt we of course .ha~ve provided the sheave

and aam assembly which is a part of the instrument to

suit a 6' Parshall flume and a maximum head of ' .

We do not bel ieve the chart markings will be in any way confusing to you, as you will understand ~hat a constant is to be established ~o secure actual fl ow values.
