WGs-rapporter 5:e december 2019

Svenska Bergteknikföreningen bad de officiella WG-representanterna att svara på följande frågor:

• Vad är det senaste som tagits fram/publicerats inom din WG?

• Vad är planen/målet med arbetet inom din WG framöver?

• Vad finns det för frågor som du som representant behöver stöd eller input från Svenska Bergteknikföreningen?

WG2 Research – Per Tengborg

Arbetsgruppen träffas främst i samband med ITA-konferensen WTC. Gruppen har även träffats vid ett fåtal tillfällen i andra sammanhang.

Senast mötet hölls på WTC i Neapel där de hade sitt möte på söndagen den 5 maj. De arbetade tillsammans med andra Working Groupss, ITAtech och nationella grupper.

Gruppens önskemål är att utöka samarbetet med ITA-CET (utbildning) Training Course på FRC i Paris för att på så sätt kunna dela med sig av sina bedrifter.

WG2 har försökt engagera Young Members som de önskar ska bidra med föryngring och nya frågor.

Ett förslag har varit att försöka engagera doktorander. Från 2019 är Francisco Ríos Bayona, doktorand på KTH, även delaktig i BYM, första kontaktperson i WG2 och tar därmed över Per Tengborgs plats.

Per kvarstår i gruppen men endast som medlem.

Gruppen är aktiv och kan ofta välja inriktning på publikationer. Nedan syns ett schema över vad gruppen arbetar med nu.

Ett av WG2:s mål är att publicera en rapport varje år. Gruppen är mycket aktiv men ett problem är att bli klar med rapporterna då det sker på frivillig basis.

De vill även göra förändringar i deras arbetssätt bland annat genom att utöka samarbetet med andra grupper och ha en intern acceptans för ordentligt och effektivt arbete (gäller alla WG2-undergrupper).

WG3 Contractual Practices – Thomas Dalmalm

Ingen representant från WG3 närvarade på mötet.

Jan Thorén meddelar att han ev. ska vara med i denna grupp. Hans förslag är att SBTF ska ha en arbetsgrupp kring kontrakteringar etc. som hör samman med denna grupp.

WG5 Health and safety in works – Mattias Roslin

Ingen representant från WG5 deltog i mötet. Mattias Roslin är ny representant sedan slutet av 2019.

Gruppen har i samarbete med British Tunnelling Society - Compressed Air Working Group i april 2019 färdigställt HPCA Work Clients Guide som är en guide för arbete i tryckluft med högt tryck. Guiden riktar sig till dem som är nya till ämnet och för att bidra till bättre förståelse av informationen som presenteras i rapport nr. 10 Guidelines for Good Working Practice in High Presure Compressed Air.

WG6 Maintenance and repair of underground – Erik Stål

Ingen representant från WG6 deltog i mötet.

På 2018 års möte rapporterades att gruppen arbetar med en ny rapport; ”Guidelines for Fire Resistance for Metro tunnels”. Den finns ännu inte publicerad (2020-05-15).Den senaste rapporten publicerades 2017 och avhandlade ämnet ”Structural fire protection for road tunnels”.

WG9 Seismic effects – Albin Andersson

Vid tiden för mötet var positionen som representant vakant.

Att gruppens huvudsyfte är att förespråka säkra alternativ till andra former av infrastruktur i

områden som i hög grad påverkas av seismisk aktivitet har tidigare ansetts inte beröra Sverige. Dock anser nu Svenska Bergteknikföreningen att gruppen bör ha en svensk representant då seismiska effekter kan uppstå även utan jordbävningar, vid exempelvis gruvdrift. Oavsett vad spänningarna i berget beror på kan infrastruktur behöva stärkas upp. Med anledning av detta resonemang ville man ha in en representant från gruvsidan och Albin Andersson från LKAB blev svensk representant för gruppen i början av 2020.

WG11 Immersed and floating tunnels - Stein Kleiven

Ingen representant från gruppen deltog i mötet.

På 2018 års möte rapporterades det att gruppen ska slutföra några sista bilagor inför publicering av rapport nummer 7, gå igenom 8 st utkast för slutändring och granska 5 st utkast internt i gruppen. 4 st utkast är nära färdigställande och avsikten är att slutföra inför Italien 2019. De ska även fortsätta arbeta med en databas över ”Project Case Study”.

Treårsplan för gruppen (inför WTC 2021):

Fokuspunkt 1: ”Special set of technical papers on immersed tunnels for TUST or WTC proceedings”.

Fokuspunkt 2: ”Publication on maintenance and repair aspects for immersed tunnels (with WG6), similar to environmental leaflet”.

Fokuspunkt 3: “Education/R&D work-group:

 Plan for education materials, supporting university courses and supporting ITACET

 Publication on innovations and recent technology advances. Leaflet style.”

Fokuspunkt 4: “Submerged Floating Tunnel Owners Guide”

De ska även göra en videopresentation, ersätta ett gammalt flygblad, och samarbeta med Kina för att ta fram standarder och manualer för nedsänkta tunnlar.

WG12 Sprayed Concrete use – Anders Ansell

Anders deltog i Neapel i maj 2019, då han också hade ett bidrag till WTC.

På mötet 2018 noterades att rapporten Fibre Reinforced Sprayed Concrete for Ground

2018. Rapporten ansågs då kunna publiceras under hösten, och senast inför nästa möte.

Rapporten finns ännu inte publicerad (2020-05-15).

Målsättningen är att publicera rapporter på nedan listade teman:

1. Fibre Reinforced Sprayed Concrete linings 2. Permanent Sprayed Concrete Linings 3. Durability

4. Quality Control

WG14 Mechanisation of excavation – Robert Sturk

Robert deltog på WTC i Neapel 2019.

Gruppen har i april 2019 tillsammans med WG15 publicerat rapporten Handling Treatment and Disposal of Tunnel Spoil Materials.

Gruppens arbete fokuserar nu på riskhantering och försäkringar för tunnedrivning med TBM, utbildnignar och demonstrationer av fördelarna med mekaniserad tunneldrivning.

“Challenging Project List” har tagits fram. Med den regelbundet uppdaterade listan får läsaren en global översikt över de nuvarande profilprojekten (enligt angivna kriterier).Listan uppdateras ofta och gruppen hoppas kunna använda detta dokument som en informativ sammanställning av intressanta projekt. Ett formulär tillåter inlämning av ytterligare projekt. Den bygger på ett PDF-formulär som garanterar en enkel hantering av data som ska skickas in.

WG15 Underground and environment – Donald Jonson

Ingen representant från arbetsgruppen deltog i mötet.

Gruppen har i april 2019 tillsammans med WG14 publicerat rapporten Handling Treatment and Disposal of Tunnel Spoil Materials.

På 2018 års möte rapporterades att gruppen har arbetat med en rapport i några år gällande Tunnel muck. Den innehåller mycket från D&B projekt men med en del nya medlemmar, från bland annat Schweiz och Italien, kommer den att kompletteras med TBM och därmed bli tyngre. Tanken är att rapporten ska presenteras i Italien.

Nästa projekt, som arbetats med parallellt och där Donald har bidragit med erfarenheter från Citybanan mm, är Noise and Vibrations. Sprängning och miljö kommer de också att börja arbeta mer med.

WG17 Long tunnels at great depth – Märit Berglind-Eriksson

Mattias Roslin har lämnat gruppen och ny svensk representant, som även tidigare var med i gruppen, är Märit Berglind-Eriksson.

- Arbetet består nu i att ta fram en guideline för logistiska aspekter

- WTC Neapel – ett första utkast med rubriker fanns framme och en av deltagarna har beskrivit aspekter utifrån deras projekt. Detta utkast arbetades vidare på i Neapel och man satte namn på ansvariga för olika kapitel.

- Sverige har inte så mycket att bidra med i frågan men vi bidrar med:

o Aspekter från oss – då särskilt kyla

o Säkerhet/arbetsmiljö under byggnation – lagstiftningen är olika – de andra länderna gillar det de ser i Sverige och Norge avseende säkerhet/arbetsmiljö i byggskede.

o Tagit på oss rollen som granskare.

- Platsbesök planeras i Österrike KORALM Tunnel och arbetsmöte kopplat till det. Märit kunde tyvärr inte deltaga då det var samma vecka som Bergdagarna. Nu har det stoppats pga Corona så troligtvis kan hon delta vid nästa tillfälle som tros bli i senare del av juni.

WG19 Conventional tunnelling – Magnus Felldin

Ingen representant från gruppen deltog i mötet.

Gruppen arbetar med Guideline on monitoring in conventional tunnelling och Special aspects in construction contracts in conventional tunnelling

WG20 Urban problems – underground solutions – Vakant (Per Tengborg)

ITAcus har blivit ombedda att ta över några frågor då ämnena hade nära koppling till dem. I Dubai 2018 var gruppen dock väl representerad igen, och det beslutades att inte lägga ner gruppen trots tidigare diskussioner i Bergen 2017. De samarbetar fortfarande med ITAcus där Per Tengborg är aktiv.

WG21 Life cycle asset management – Vakant

Gruppens huvudsakliga fokus är att ta fram riktlinjer för tunnelägare för att stödja Life Cycle Asset management.

WG22 Information Modelling in Tunnelling – Jan Thorén & Mats Svensson

Jan Thorén rapporterade att BIM for owners – best practice för beställare är under arbete. Den ska förhoppningsvis vara färdig till nästa möte.

Arbetsgruppen hade möten 5 - 6 maj 2019 på WTC i Neapel, från Sverige deltog Mats Svensson, Jan Thorén och Bo Larsson-Gruber. Nedan finns rapport från mötena.

Gruppen förefaller använda enbart begreppet BIM som övergripande benämning på ansvarsområdet. Generellt handlade diskussioner och presentationer väldigt mycket om BIM i allmänhet, dvs inget särskilt fokus på BIM för tunnelbyggande, de kunde lika gärna ha förts på en WG för väg- eller Jvg- områdena. Det kan om man vill tas som en indikator på att BIM- mognaden inom tunnelbyggande är lite efter väg- och järnvägsområdena, vilket också symboliseras av buildingSMART-organisationens olika IFC-spår (IFC är ett överföringsformat som ska göra data och modeller verktygsoberoende) IFC Road, IFC Rail, IFC Tunnel, där både Rail och Road redan har påbörjat sitt standardiseringarbete. IFC Tunnel har sitt kick off-möte i Paris 13 - 14 juni 2019.

Endast ett fåtal presentationer lyfte fram vikten av den georelaterade modellen med tillhörande behov av standardisering.

Av medlemsländerna hade Tyskland, Schweiz, Frankrike, Kina, Sverige, Norge, Holland och Australien/Nya Zeeland någon form av presentation/er. Nedan några korta punkter från varje presentation.

Germany (Mr Hanz Erbahr, Switzerland)

• DAUB report on recommendation on BIM in Tunnelling (googlat men inte hittat)

• A lot of guidelines, many examples like “best practice”

• Targets: handle the geometry, handle the uncertainties, communicate all underground information in an easy way

• One of the biggest challenges is to handle geo related info in BIM

• BIM definition – 3D, digital, must have an LCC perspective

• Aiming at more Design and Build – means need for closer cooperation with contractors

• Need to work on standardization – bit by bit until the end of 2020 (supplier independent)

• Aiming at having a national database of all infrastructure in Germany in 2025

• Challenge to combine all different models (geotechnical, hydrogeology etc)

• Need to be aware of the uncertainties using digital BIM models

• Visualisation is very important – to get acceptance (PR work)

• Aiming at model-based tendering

• Operators not yet so interested (although the technology is already here – fiber optics for stability etc)

• Some puzzle pieces in place but not the whole puzzle

France (Dr Florent Robert & Dr Nataliya Dias)

• CIGEO – underground disposal for nuclerar waste - 200 km of galleries, 500 m, 5 shafts (typ Forsmark alltså) (Nataliya)

• MINND UC8 – Task group Tunnel (Florent)

o National research project MINnD (Modelling Interoperable Information for

sustainable Infrastructures) dedicated to BIM for infrastructures, and in particular its use case n°8 relating to the underground infrastructures.

»experts«, »gurus«, »ninjas«). Deceiving is not promoting, it's actually its opposite as it discredits the industry as a whole.

• Educating the investors/owners will be most beneficial.

• Tools need to be developed further for tunnelling, before the whole industry can step up the game.

• “The American Vrachlav Gall”: ITA should stop at the level Defining at what level of detail the BIM model should state. I suggest we look at China, from today´s presentations they are the only one´s who include “everything”.

Presentation Sweden (Mats Svensson) – CoClass suggested for classification of underground objects

In a R&D project (0.5 mill Euro) 2017-2019 has the CoClass-system (ISO 12006) been supplemented with classes for geo related underground objects – fundamentally built up as a differentiation of Holding objects (reality) and Visual objects (models). See poster P92192 “Efficient communication of geologically related data and 3D models in tunnelling projects” (page 72 in Proceedings, Ch125 file for full pdf) for more information.

Reflection – the rather vague reaction could be caused by either no awareness of the CoClass system due to that Sweden is in the very front of the topic or either because CoClass is seen as a competitor to IFC or AGS and “regarded as too small”.

Other things

• Next year (every 3 years) there will be an election on animateur and vice animateur – every MN need to a nominee

Finally – a very interesting meeting concerning standards for the geo related environment will be held in Portugal in September. Look for the ICITG meeting at the IDBE Geotech web site.

ITA Young Member – Jekaterina Jonsson

Jekaterina rapporterar om ökat engagemang från Asien och Afrika. Möten hålls via Skype var 6:e vecka, nyhetsbrev varannan månad. Diskuterar kring utbildningar i samband med WTC.

Avtalet för Breakthrough med Tunnelling Journal löper ut.

Man vill få in ITAym mer i ITA. Gruppen har själva diskuterat detta med ITA:s ordförande Jenny Yan.

Samma fråga har även lyfts i Nordic Forum. Man vill uppmuntra till engagemang internationellt bland young members. ITA ska ha en egen budget som olika länder kan ansöka om för att arrangera event för young members. Det är även stort fokus på mångfald nu inom ITA.
