Title (English)

Survey of information transfer via Datex II to service providers

Title (Swedish)

Utvärdering av informationsförsörjning till tjänsteleverantörer

Abstract

Datex II is a European standard used for exchange of traffic data that the Swedish Road Administration (SRA) uses to supply its service providers with relevant information concerning the traffic status. In this project a survey of Datex II was performed with the purpose to facilitate and improve the delivery of traffic data and strengthen the SRA´s relationship with its service providers. The results of the study mainly focus on the

importance of a “roadmap”; a newsletter concerning the ongoing and developing work with Datex II both national and international. Also further work with improving the quality of the traffic data is of significance, as well as to elaborate the work with feedback from the users.
