Text questions
These questions can be used to reflect on a book, a movie, or another kind of text.
1. Give an overview of the characters in the text.
2. What do you think about the text? Why?
3. Did anything chock you in the text? WhY?
4. Has the text taught you anything new?
5. Who is your favorite character from the text? Why?
6. Is there any character you can relate to?
7. Connect something from the text to the today's society. Motivate and describe.
8. Connect something from the text to yourself. Motivate and describe.
9. Have you read or seen any similar text?
10.Which is your favorite event in the text and why? Motivate.
11. How current is the text? Can you connect anything from it to today?
(this question mostly applies to older/non-present texts) 12.Did the text give you new thoughts or experiences? Describe.
13.Are there any betrays in the text?
14.Try to mark out highs and turning points from the text.
15.Does any of the characters act wrong? Who? Why?
16.Are there any event in the text where you would have acted different if you were the character? What event? Why?
17.Do you find any hidden message in the text or anything that you can connect to a bigger perspective? Describe.
18.Give the text a rating from 1-10 and motive the rating.
