Procentuell medlemsförändring

Förändringen av antalet medlemmar i Svenska kyrkan mellan två olika tidpunkter kan förklaras med tre olika nettoberäkningar:

1) Generationsväxling: Fler eller färre barn döps jämfört med hur många medlemmar som avlider.

2) In-/Utträdesnetto: Fler eller färre inträder aktivt i Svenska kyrkan (inträden av personer som är 12 år eller äldre, ej döpta barn) jämfört med hur många som aktivt utträder.

3) Flyttnetto: Hur många medlemmar som flyttar till eller från ett geografiskt område (redovisas ej i tabellen nedan men förklarar resterande medlemsförändring).

Tillsammans beskriver dessa netton hur antalet medlemmar förändras mellan två olika år.

Uppgifter om folkmängd, medlemmar i Svenska kyrkan samt avlidna medlemmar tas fram av SCB på uppdrag av Svenska kyrkan.

Uppgifter om döpta barn, aktiva inträden samt aktiva utträden hämtas från Svenska kyrkans kyrkobokföringsprogram "Kbok".
