A pupil might have the right to attend school at a different municipality if the student has special circumstances. Before the school can make a decision to accept the student the current school shall comment upon the application. A muncipality can also accept a student based on the wishes of the custodian. The decision to do so is however up to the municipality and is not a guaranteed right (The education act, chapter 10 § 25 § s).
