Dear student,

Welcome to study Maritime Management at Novia University of Applied Sciences!

The academic year begins with a first gathering on Monday the 31th of August 2015 at 12 a.m. The venue is Aboa Mare, Juhana Herttuan puistokatu 21, Turku. During the first day you will get information on practicalities concerning your studies. This day is a part of your studies and important for the future success in your studies.

On this day your original school certificates will be checked. Bring your original certificates, which you used in your application 2015, with you to school that day. Bring also your passport!

You must also exhibit a valid unlimited Seafarer Medical Certificate (SMC) for service in the deck department. In Finland an SMC can be acquired only on certain locations (see enclosed list). The SMC must be sent/brought to school by the 11th of August, 2015, to:
