7.5 Förslag för framtida forskning

Framtida studier bör fokusera på att undersöka relationen mellan varumärkesimage och marknadsföring av kontroversiella produkter via influencer marketing ytterligare. Framtida studier kan exempelvis titta på andra typer av kontroversiella produkter så som nikotinprodukter eller speltjänster. Framtida studier hade även kunnat undersöka skillnader mellan kön och/eller ålder ytterligare vad gäller uppfattning av marknadsföring av kontroversiella produkter via influencer marketing. Slutligen kan framtida studier fokusera på att undersöka skillnader i uppfattning av marknadsföring av kontroversiella produkter via influencer marketing i högkontext länder jämfört med lågkontext länder.
