Då klimatfrågan är högaktuellt ämne idag och högst troligen kommer vara det i många år framöver bör fortsatt forskning bedrivas inom området. Under studien har flera intressanta idéer på fortsatta studier identifierats:
- Genomföra en liknande studie på en annan typ av företag för att se hur resultatet kan skilja sig mellan olika branscher.
- Studera hur en ledningsgrupp på ett effektivt sätt kan arbeta med att bryta ner och kommunicera ut företagets strategier till sina medarbetare.
- Undersöka hur klimatpolitiska åtgärder bör utformas för att ge största möjliga effekt utifrån faktorer såsom olika företags klimatpåverkan och deras möjlighet att minska sina utsläpp av växthusgaser.
