6.3 Förslag till vidare forskning 48
Vår studie ger en indikation på hur företag förhåller sig till en specifik rankinglista inom hållbarhet. För att kunna generalisera resultatet föreslår vi att framtida studier bör genom en kvalitativ och kvantitativ metod göras över fler företag som medverkar i rankinglistan med större skillnad på placering. Det vore även intressant att studera fler rankingar och andra analysföretag för att kunna undersöka om förhållningssättet skiljer sig beroende på vad rankingen behandlar. För att få ett större djup och också titta på huruvida de lägre rankade företagen förhåller sig till rankinglistor föreslår vi att framtida studier även bör undersöka lägre rankade företag. Vidare skulle det vara intressant att studera hur förhållningssättet skiljer sig beroende på ägarstrukturer, detta genom att studera en större bredd av olika företag med skilda ägarstrukturer.
