Searching for dark matter in the Galactic Halo with IceCube using high energy cascades

Samuel Flis July 3, 2017

• page 33 section 3.1.4, last paragraph The presented fit results from the CMB data do not match the reference ([44]). The correct values should be Ωb = 0.0486 ± 0.0010, Ωm= 0.3089 ± 0.0062, ΩΛ= 0.6911 ± 0.0062 and ΩDM= 0.2589 ± 0.0057

• page 65, section 6.1, last paragraph: The number of IC86 events is missing:

"The IC79 sample contains 133 cascade events and the IC86 sample contains with a total of 278 events."

should be changed to:

"The IC79 sample contains 133 cascade events and the IC86 sample contains 145 events, with a total of 278 events."

• page 80, figure 6.13: The line which is supposed to show the 4yPS+3yMESE Halo limit is unfortunately showing the sensitivity. For lower masses the limit is 20% lower than the sensitivity and 10% higher for the highest masses.

• page 89, figure 7.2: The units on the x and y-axis should be meters not kilometers..
