Forskning om RPA och deras påverkan på verksamheter är inte så utbrett idag. RPA kan användas inom många branscher samt verksamheter och utföra många slags uppgifter vilket gör att forskningsområdet är fullt med möjligheter. Det kan vara intressant att genomföra liknande studier som jag har gjort på andra företag / branscher eller inom offentlig sektor för att se om resultatet skiljer sig åt. Att jämföra RPA mot någon annan typ av automatiseringsteknik är ett annat förslag för att se vilken teknik som skulle lösa problemet på bästa möjliga sätt. Det kan också vara intressant att genomföra djupgående studier om RPA-effekter inom samma bolag samt genomföra mätning av praktiska påverkan i verksamheter. Då kan framtida studien undersöka olika RPA införandeprocesser. Som resultat av sådana undersökningar kunde fallföretaget Alfa få en mall för utvärdering av effekter och påverkan av olika robotar på verksamhetsprocesser.
