One of the nicest things about its present is its past .

Always a multiple experience in dining, The Broadmoor extends your

warm welcome to a choice of award-winning restaurants in a charming full~

circle of moods and good taste.

The magnificent, ninth-story Penrose room-with its city and mountain

views-surrounds European service and cuisine with flawless Edwardian elegance.

The Tavern-informally bright and unique in its collection of Toul

ouse-Lautrec originals, offers a live orchestra at luncheon and dinner, and a

cool, glassed-in garden court with a special, turn-of-the century European grace.

The superb food service of The Broadmoor's Main Dining Room-and the reputation of its famous chefs- has earned its enthusiastic demand for banquets and convention dinners.

Across the colorful mezzanine, tastefully furnished from five

conti-nents, is the exquisite Lake Terrace Lounge and its collection of authentic

oriental objects d'art from the Ming, T'sing dynasties and the 17th Century

Coromandel.

In an interesting counterpoint, you'll enjoy the atmosphere of a

beautifully-reconstructed 18th century English pub at the congenial Golden Bee. Imported beers and ales are featured-along with a hearty

steak-and-kidney pie.

Along these slopes is Ski Broadmoor- and its Winter House at the

base of the lift. A circular, copper-hooded fireplace invites friendly

social-izing-livened with pleasant apres ski entertainment, snacks and beverages

-during the ski season.

The Broadmoor is its -own adventure in shopping, too-or simply brows-ing-at some of America's smartest shops and boutiques. And, at our own

Theatre, fine motion pictures show nightly-and Sunday matinees.
