Enligt tidigare studier finns det få forskare som fokuserat på hur lärande sker i undervisningen i idrott och hälsa och specifikt utifrån artefaktanvändning och lärande. Detta i en undervisning där rörelsen står i fokus och där elever främst interagerar med kroppsrörelser. Syftet med licentiatuppsatsen var att undersöka elevers användande och utvecklande av olika rörelsekvaliteter i en lärprocess där dansspel användes som läromedel i undervisningen i idrott och hälsa på gymnasiet. Resultatet av studien visar att eleverna använder många olika rörel- sekvaliteter när de interagerar med dansspelet och samspelar med varandra. Vidare visar resultatet att eleverna utvecklar rörelsekvaliteter i en lärprocess där dansspelet används som läromedel utifrån att de imiterar, repeterar och kommu- nicerar med avataren på dansspelet samt förhandlar, instruerar, modellerar och använder metaforer i samspel med kamrater. Studiens slutsats är att elevernas användande och utvecklande av rörelsekvaliteter är beroende av hur dansspelet används och framför allt avseende elevernas möjligheter att interagera med spelet och med varandra. Jag kan därför konstatera att Wii lär oss dansa är av- hängigt av hur lärare och elever använder dansspel som läromedel i undervis- ningen.
