Grand Junction, Colorado Dear Bill:
March 11, 1960
I have your letter of March 8 and may I say to you that I could not agree with anyone more than I do with you in your thinking relative to any proposed amendments sponsored by the California interests to the Fryingpan-Arkansas legislation. I see no reason why we should get so thick with the lower river people when all of us know that although we have differences in Colorado our real interests are with each other, and not with people from other regions.
We still have winter here, Bill. This morning it was 16° and it isn't supposed to go above freezing today, quite different from our usual operations.
As usual, I am hurrying this morning - Best regards.
Sincerely,
